General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Presentation
The company POPOLO SAS, whose registered office is located at 86 rue du cherche midi 75006 PARIS, is a SAS with a capital of €1,000 registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 845 055 953 000 28, NAF code 4759B.
Subject
POPOLO SAS markets decorative and food items on its online store (or e-shop) "www.popolo.fr".
The purchasing client can only be an individual final consumer of the product.
The purchasing customer places an order for product(s) that will be delivered to their home or to a pickup point.
Scope
POPOLO SAS may modify its general terms and conditions of sale at any time.
When the customer checked the box "I accept and acknowledge that I have read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale," they unconditionally accept all the general terms and conditions of sale applicable on the day the order is placed.
Orders
The products displayed on the sales site of the company POPOLO SAS are presented in the form of photos accompanied by a description including, among other things, the colors, sizes, availability, and the unit sale price which includes VAT at the rate in effect on the day the order is placed.
The sales prices including tax are expressed in Euros.
The decorative products presented are from artisanal production and may vary as the pieces are handmade. POPOLO SAS cannot be held responsible for slight irregularities and color differences noted on the delivered item(s). Before placing an order, the purchasing customer may request advice on their product choice by sending an email to POPOLO SAS at ciao@popolo.fr
When the order is completed, the customer must verify at their own responsibility that it conforms to their choice.
Order validation generates the sending of an order receipt confirmation message.
An order confirmed by the purchasing client cannot be modified on the POPOLO SAS sales website.
POPOLO SAS reserves the right to cancel an order that appears abnormal, contains irregularities, or comes from a purchasing client with whom a previous dispute existed.
For customizable products, Popolo reserves the right to cancel an order and refund the customer if the customization request cannot be fulfilled by the workshops.
Services
In the "my account" section, the customer has the following services:
- Order history
- Status of current orders
- Delivery tracking number for ongoing orders
- Invoice history
- Cancellation history

Pricing
The prices indicated on popolo.fr are in Euros and include VAT at the applicable rate, except for countries outside the European Union (VAT exemption art.262 ter, I of the CGI).
Customers placing orders from a country in the European Union must pay the appropriate shipping fees, taxes, and customs charges. These costs are included in the purchase price on popolo.fr
Customers placing orders from a country outside the European Union are only charged for the items purchased and shipping fees. Customs duties or taxes are billed directly to you by the carrier. Before placing an order, we recommend contacting your local customs office to find out the clearance cost.
Payment
Payment at the time of order must be made exclusively through the Shopify payment system (including Apple Pay) or Paypal, the only financial institutions authorized to receive the buyer customer's confidential data.
The purchasing client is legally capable of contracting the order and using the bank card of which they are the holder.
The debit corresponding to the order amount is immediate.
The buyer customer's bank details are not known to POPOLO SAS, so they must be entered with each new order.
Delivery
Product and price offers are valid as long as they are visible on the sales website.
From the receipt of the order for the products indicated as in stock by POPOLO SAS, the indicative shipping time is seven (7) business days.
During the holiday season, delivery times may be extended but will in any case not exceed a period of thirty (30) business days.
From the receipt of the order, for products indicated as pre-order (made to order), the production and shipping time indicated by POPOLO SAS is indicative and will be confirmed to the customer after the order.
If for a reason specific to the company a partial item of the order could not be shipped while payment has been made by the purchasing customer, POPOLO SAS commits to informing the purchasing customer and to proceeding with a full refund of the item concerned.
If for a reason specific to the company the entire order could not be shipped while payment has been made by the purchasing customer, POPOLO SAS commits to informing the purchasing customer and to proceeding with a full refund of the order.
For an order containing several items, some of which may have delayed delivery, POPOLO SAS commits to partial deliveries without additional shipping charges.
Upon receipt, the customer must verify the conformity of the delivered items listed on the invoice found in the "My Orders" section of the "My Account" area.
POPOLO SAS ships only to France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Greece, Norway, Monaco, Canada, United States, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia and Hong Kong.

Article L211-5 of the Consumer Code
To comply with the contract, the property must:
* be suitable for the use normally expected of a similar good and, if applicable:
- correspond to the description given by the seller and possess qualities that the seller presented to the buyer and displayed on their online store;
- present the qualities that a buyer can legitimately expect with regard to the public statements made by the seller, notably in advertising or labeling;
* or have the characteristics mutually agreed upon by the parties or be suitable for any specific use sought by the buyer, brought to the seller's attention and accepted by the latter.
Returns and exchanges of items
The purchasing customer has a withdrawal period of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the package to return the item or items, without having to justify the reason and without any penalties applied to them. The customer must send their return request by email to POPOLO SAS at the address ciao@popolo.fr
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, who may choose the carrier of their choice. POPOLO SAS does not reimburse return shipping costs, but only the amount of the returned item(s).
The returned item(s) must be in its (their) original condition, unwashed, undamaged, or unstained and shipped to POPOLO SAS in the complete original packaging.
After receiving the return package at the warehouse and a quality check, the item or items will be refunded by POPOLO SAS within 15 days, with no fees.
If the purchasing customer wants an exchange for a different item, they must necessarily place a new order on the sales website.
Customized products are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Processing of personal data
Any order placement with POPOLO SAS requires the creation of a client account.
Access to your client area is conditional upon your identification using the email address you provided when creating your account, as well as the personal and confidential secret password you have chosen.
If you do not provide your personal data, your order cannot be processed.
The computerized processing of collected personal data is intended for order management.
This data will not be transferred to a non-member state of the European Union.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act, you have the right to access and rectify data concerning you. If applicable, please send your request by email to ciao@popolo.fr
Jurisdiction
POPOLO SAS cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the concluded contract due to the occurrence of a force majeure event.
In case of dispute, only the French Commercial Court located in Paris will have jurisdiction.
The general terms and conditions of sale are subject exclusively to French law.
POPOLO SAS cannot be held responsible for the non-fulfillment of the contract embodied by the order received from the purchasing client in the event of stock shortage, delivery delay, strike by delivery services responsible for transport, or external conflicts that prevented the distribution of the package.
