General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Presentation
The company POPOLO SAS, whose registered office is located at 86 rue du cherche midi 75006 PARIS, is a SAS with a capital of 1,000 € registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 845 055 953 000 36, NAF code 4759B.
Object
POPOLO SAS sells decorative and food items on its online store (or e-shop) "www.popolo.fr".
The purchasing customer can only be a private end consumer of the product.
The purchasing customer places an order for product(s) that will be delivered to their home or to a pickup point.
Scope of application
POPOLO SAS may modify its general terms and conditions of sale at any time.
When the customer has checked the box "I accept and acknowledge that I have read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale", they unreservedly accept all the general terms and conditions of sale applicable on the day of the order entry.
Orders
The products displayed on the sales site of POPOLO SAS are presented in the form of photos accompanied by a description including, among other things, colors, sizes, availability, and the unit selling price which includes VAT at the rate in effect on the day the order is placed.
The selling prices including tax are expressed in Euros.
The decorative products presented are from artisanal production and may vary as the pieces are handmade; POPOLO SAS cannot be held responsible for slight irregularities and color differences noted on the delivered item(s). Before placing their order, the purchasing customer can request advice on their product choices by sending an email to POPOLO SAS at the address ciao@popolo.fr
When the order is completed, the customer must verify at their own responsibility that it conforms to their choice.
The validation of the order generates the sending of a confirmation message of order receipt.
An order validated by the purchasing customer cannot be modified on the POPOLO SAS sales site.
POPOLO SAS reserves the right to cancel an order that appears abnormal, containing irregularities, or originating from a purchasing customer with whom a previous dispute may have existed.
For customizable products, Popolo reserves the right to cancel an order and refund the customer if the customization request is not feasible by the workshops.

- Delivery tracking number for ongoing orders
- Invoice history
- Cancellation history

Pricing
The prices listed on popolo.fr are in Euros and include VAT at the applicable rate, except for countries outside the European Union (VAT exemption art.262 ter, I of the CGI).
Customers ordering from a country in the European Union must pay the appropriate shipping fees, taxes, and customs fees. These costs are included in the purchase price on popolo.fr
Customers ordering from a country outside the European Union are only charged for the items purchased and shipping fees. Customs fees or taxes are charged directly to you by the carrier. Before placing an order, we recommend contacting your local customs service to find out the cost of customs clearance.
Payment
Payment at the time of order must be made exclusively via the Shopify payment system (including Apple Pay) or Paypal, the only financial organizations authorized to receive the confidential data of the purchasing customer.
The purchasing customer is legally capable of contracting the order and using the credit card of which he is the holder.
The debit corresponding to the amount of the order is immediate.
The banking data of the purchasing customer not being known to POPOLO SAS, this information must be entered with each new order.
Delivery
Product and price offers are valid as long as they are visible on the sales site.
From the receipt of the order for products indicated as in stock by POPOLO SAS, the indicative shipping time is seven (7) working days.
During holiday periods, delivery times may be extended but will not exceed a period of thirty (30) working days in any case.
From the receipt of the order, for products indicated as pre-order (made to order), the production and shipping time indicated by POPOLO SAS is indicative and will be confirmed to the customer after the order.
If for a reason specific to the company a partial item of the order could not be shipped while payment has been made by the purchasing customer, POPOLO SAS commits to notifying the purchasing customer and proceeding with a full refund of the item in question.

For an order containing multiple items, some of which may have delayed delivery, POPOLO SAS commits to making partial deliveries without additional shipping charges.
Upon receipt, the customer must verify the conformity of the delivered items listed on the invoice found in the 'My Orders' section of the 'My Account' space.
POPOLO SAS ships only to France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Greece, Norway, Monaco, Canada, United States, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, and Hong Kong.
Free delivery to Colissimo pickup points for orders over €80 in France only.
Article L211-5 of the Consumer Code
To be in conformity with the contract, the item must:
* being suitable for the usual use expected of a similar good and, if applicable:
- matching the description given by the seller and possessing qualities that he presented to the buyer and listed in his online store;
- present the qualities that a buyer can legitimately expect in light of the public statements made by the seller, particularly in advertising or labeling;
* or present the characteristics defined by mutual agreement between the parties or be suitable for any specific use sought by the buyer, brought to the seller's attention and accepted by them.
Returns and exchanges of items
The purchasing client has a withdrawal period of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the package to return the item(s), without having to justify the reason and without penalties. The client must send their return request by email to POPOLO SAS at ciao@popolo.fr
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client, who can choose the carrier of their choice. POPOLO SAS does not refund return shipping costs, but only the amount of the returned item(s).
The returned item(s) must be in their original condition, not washed, not damaged, or not soiled and shipped to POPOLO SAS in the complete original packaging.
After receiving the return package at the warehouse and a quality check, the item(s) will be refunded by POPOLO SAS within 15 days, at no cost.
If the purchasing client wishes to exchange for a different item, they must necessarily place a new order on the sales site.
Personalized products are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Processing of personal data
Any order placed with POPOLO SAS requires the creation of a customer area.
Access to your customer area is conditional on your identification using the email address you provided when creating your account, as well as the personal and confidential secret password you will have chosen.
In the absence of providing your personal data, your order could not be processed.
The computerized processing of personal data collected is intended for the management of orders.
This data will not be transferred to a non-European Union member state.

Jurisdiction
POPOLO SAS cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the contract concluded due to the occurrence of a force majeure event.
In case of dispute, only the French Commercial Court located in Paris will have jurisdiction.
The general terms of sale are solely subject to French law.
POPOLO SAS cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the contract represented by the order received from the purchasing client in the event of stock shortages, delays in delivery, strikes by delivery services responsible for transport, or external conflicts that prevented the distribution of the package.
